About us

Our services

Information on this website, including prices, is a general description of what we offer. When you become a client, we send you an engagement letter setting out exactly what we will do, our fees and both sides' responsibilities. The engagement letter is our contract with you and takes priority over anything on this website.

Online quotes are estimates. We confirm your fee before any work starts.

Calculators, guides and news

Our free calculators, guides, glossary and articles are general information to help you understand your position. They:

  • are based on the tax rules and rates shown at the time, for typical situations
  • are not financial, tax or legal advice for your own circumstances
  • may not reflect changes made after they were published

Please speak to us before acting on them. We are not responsible for losses caused by relying on general information on this website.

Your account

If you create an account, keep your password safe and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it. Give us accurate information.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the website โ€” for example by trying to get unauthorised access, uploading anything harmful, or using our chat or forms to send spam.

Bookings

A booked call is a free, no-obligation consultation. Please let us know if you need to change or cancel it.

We link to sites such as GOV.UK for your convenience. We are not responsible for their content.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, our liability for your use of this website is limited as set out above. Our liability for client work is set out in your engagement letter.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
